Role Overview:
The successful candidate will have good technical and problem-solving skills, with a positive and results driven attitude, and be a strong communicator who can interact with both technical and non-technical people.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Develop software as part of an agile team with short iterations and frequent releases;
- Contribute to planning and the subsequent development of applications;
- Remain up to date in terms of current and future needed upgrades.
Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required:
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, with 1–2 years of experience through internships, freelance work, academic projects, or early professional roles.
- Basic knowledge of Typescript
- Familiarity with React.js and Node.js, and a strong interest in building scalable, real-world applications using modern frameworks.
- Basic grasp of web application structures—client/server models, REST APIs, and database interaction.
- Comfortable with HTML5, CSS3, and modern ES6+ JavaScript features, with a focus on writing clear and well-structured code.
- Exposure to handling responsive layouts and common cross-browser compatibility challenges.
- Curious about how browsers work, with a growing understanding of DOM manipulation, performance, and front-end behavior.
- Attention to detail when it comes to visual styling, layout, and overall UI consistency.
- Quick to learn, eager to grow, and ready to collaborate with teammates on real-world problems.
