About Flutter UKI
Flutter UK & Ireland are the UKI region of Flutter Entertainment. They unite a dozen brands including powerhouses Paddy Power, Betfair, Tombola and Sky Betting & Gaming, bringing together hundreds of teams and thousands of colleagues, who create trusted entertainment for millions of customers every week.
Role Overview:
Please note this role will include overnight work as the team provides round the clock support. The Maintenance and Optimisation team is responsible for ensuring the smooth deployment & running of automations within the Flutter group. These automations are designed primarily using RPA (UiPath) technology. This involves QA/UAT testing, proactive & reactive maintenance of deployed processes, performance monitoring and reporting on key metrics. Much of the above serves to optimise our automations. However, it doesn't stop there. We not only want to optimise processes from a low-level technical perspective, but also our ways of working when it comes to solution design, resource allocation and reducing repetition through scalable reusable components. The effective management of these areas is another key responsibility of this team. We are looking for smart, hard-working and creative people, who are passionate about automation and want to help drive transformation within Flutter through automation technology. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Become certified with UiPath RPA software
- Resolving raised issues in a timely manner according to best practices using knowledge of vb.net/C#, HTML, Web APIs
- Measuring the performance of deployed automations and creating relevant reporting outputs with tools like Looker & PowerBI
- Overseeing resource allocation in Azure and making informed changes to our infrastructure where appropriate
- Creating automated performance alerting
- Performing QA/code reviews pre go-live on all automations sent through the agreed submission process, using specified version control software
- Implementing process improvements according to change request/proactive improvement backlog
- Maintaining documentation on best practices & team processes across all brands Can work cooperatively with others across the organization to get things done.
Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required:

Desirable:
- Certifications in UiPath.
- Knowledge in vb.net/C# or similar programming languages is a plus
- Experience with HTML & CSS.
- Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Redshift and relevant analytics tools will be an advantage.
- Familiar with connecting to web API's, especially using UiPath or other RPA technologies.
- Relevant degree qualification – with Computer Science and Software Engineering at an advantage
