About Flutter Studios:

Flutter Studios comprises three of Flutter’s in-house studios together with Product, Technology and Operations teams with the collective objective to create industry leading casino game content exclusively for Flutter casino brands worldwide.

Role overview:

We are looking for a dedicated, self motivated, highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer within Flutter Studios Technology to help us ensuring the quality for a new platform we intend to build. This platform will become a fully featured supplier of in-house content for any operator or game studio to use. You will play a crucial role in bringing this product to life and establishing a high level of quality for it.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Identify test requirements from specifications, design comprehensive test case scenarios, map test cases to correspondent requirements and prepare test coverage plan
• Continuously strive to improve the efficiency and coverage of the QA processes
• Review functional, technical design specifications and business documents to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables and to analyze any gaps in requirements
• Design, develop and execute automated tests
• Assume ownership of project automation requirements and deliverables
• Contribute to the overall testing effort on projects, and looking to increase automated test coverage
• Ensure integrity, validity, testability of all product specifications
• Analyze software product and development process and provides input for decisions regarding the actions to be taken to ensure and enforce product quality
• Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts
• Execute test cases, document, evaluate and report test results
• Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members
• Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements
• Identify, isolate defects, minimize steps to replicate and log issues into a defect tracking tool (JIRA), and verify fixes
• Work closely with development and business teams to reproduce, prioritize and monitor defects
• Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate immediately to management
• Balance multiple QA tasks and priorities with minimal supervision while working under tight deadlines
• Analytically troubleshoot software and discuss integration issues with various stakeholders throughout the company

Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required:

• 2-3 years relevant experience
• Computer Science or Software Engineering academic background or equivalent experience
• Advanced understanding of micro-services
• Basic knowledge of programming languages - both FE and BE
• Experience working in Service Virtualization, Cloud, Agile, CI/CD, DevOps environments
• Experience using Jenkins, Maven, and other related CI/CD tools
• Good experience using Selenium
• Experience of Agile software development practices
• Proven experience of interactive distributed software systems testing (client/server)
• Good knowledge of QA Testing Methodologies and familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle
• Good commercial experience working on successful automated testing projects
• Background in functional testing with the ability to plan, design and execute test cases
• Proven diagnostic and debugging skills
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving and prioritization skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive work ethic with the ability to deliver results and meet challenging deadlines
• Excellent planning and time organizing
