Role Overview:
We are looking for an Automation Specialist (mid-level role) to be an instrumental part of delivering a transformational automation program across the FanDuel Group. You will work alongside teams throughout the business to develop and implement Intelligent Process Automation solutions to our most time-consuming and sticky problems using a variety of automation software tools and technologies. You will use your drive and determination to craft and deliver the best automation solutions, using the latest cutting-edge technology, across all departments of the FanDuel Group.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Keeps a clear mind and focus on one project while multitasking
- Good understanding of all tools & processes managed by the team
- Analyses business processes to suggest process improvements and develop intelligent automation solutions around them
- Estimate automation duration
- Independently build and deploy Intelligent Automation workflows.
- Participates in AI and Machine Learning projects, assisting with data preparation and model integration.
- Collaborate on identifying and assessing processes for Intelligent Automation.
- Flawless execution of projects with a medium complexity
- Designs, develops, tests, deploys and document automation workflows and create reusable components
- Has strong skills and knowledge in the relevant execution areas where training was provided
- Meets project deadlines and offers solutions to the rest of the team to improve performance
- Understands programming concepts
- Has good business operational experience and RPA experience
- Has exposure to RPA platforms
- Understands data structures
- Understands and follows coding best practices; e.g., naming conventions, error handling, logging, commenting
- Understand how to fill out and complete a Solutions Design document (SDD)
- Problem-solve issues that arise in the day-to-day running of robotic processes and provide timely responses and solutions as required - assistance with error handling, exceptions, and debugging
- Responsible for UAT management for the projects they are responsible for
- Covers issue resolution & stakeholder queries successfully
- Takes ownership of issues
- Participates and leads workshops during the implementation phase
- Works closely with the CoE team
- Creates and manages PDD/SDD for the projects they are working on
- Focus: Developing automation solutions with increasing independence.
Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required:
- Experience Level: 2-4 years of experience, including significant experience with RPA and exposure to Python and AI technologies.
- Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in Python for automation tasks, data manipulation, and interaction with APIs.
- Solid experience with RPA tools (UiPath, Power Automate, e.g.) and building automations end-to-end.
- Hands-on working experience with Automation tools, with ability to design moderately complex workflows.
- Experience in using GitHub automation for CI/CD pipeline preferred
- Knowledge of AI-driven automation: Ability to integrate AI models (e.g., predictive models, NLP).
- Use of Task Mining and Process Mining tools to discover automation opportunities.
