About Flutter UKI
Flutter UK & Ireland are the UKI region of Flutter Entertainment. They unite a dozen brands including powerhouses Paddy Power, Betfair, Tombola and Sky Betting & Gaming, bringing together hundreds of teams and thousands of colleagues, who create trusted entertainment for millions of customers every week.
Prior Knowledge and Skills
- 2 years of experience in the QA field, performing both manual and automated testing
- Experience with Web testing
- Familiarity with Web testing tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools, Postman, etc.)
- Knowledge of one or both: Selenium or Playwright
- Understanding of OOP concepts and familiarity with one or two programming languages such as Java or JavaScript frameworks
- Experience in API testing (e.g., REST)
- Future Ready: Demonstrating curiosity and openness toward AI and emerging technologies (Chat GPT, Claude, etc), with a willingness to continuously learn, adapt, and share knowledge.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and how they are applied in software development
- Strong, clear, and confident communication skills
- Keen attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset
- Experience working with version control systems such as Git
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Understand requirements and business context
- Prepare test plans for Epics and corresponding User Stories
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Developers to ensure functionality is implemented and tested correctly
- Participate in release activities
- Be open to participating in on-call rotations
- Create and maintain documentation
- Execute manual and automated tests
- Perform performance testing according to KPIs such as Google Web Vitals
- Migrate automated tests between frameworks when needed
- Work with CI/CD tools and pipelines
