About Flutter UKI

Role overview:

The Cyber and Technology Risk Associate is a member of the Flutter UKI Security team, reporting to the Technology Risk Manager. This role plays a key part in supporting the effective technology risk management practices in UKI.

You will support with the identification, assessment and treatment of cyber and technology risks, while acting as a trusted partner to the technical stakeholders. The position requires a balance or analytical skills, stakeholder engagement and a continuous improvement mindset.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Work on a number of concurrent/diverse activities within cyber and technology risk management
  • As part of the Technology Risk Management team, perform process-specific activities:
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date risk documentation
  • Engage with risk/action owners to perform regular risk reviews
  • Develop dashboards and reports using the GRC tooling to enhance the visibility of risk posture
  • Support the Technology Risk Manager with monitoring and reporting on relevant risk metrics, trends, key indicators
  • Build strong business relationships with stakeholders to align on mutual goals, requirements and risk priorities
  • Identify and drive opportunities for process improvements through the use of automation and AI
  • Support the Technology Risk Manager with creating presentations and reports for senior leadership
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on applying risk management frameworks effectively
  • Support the Technology Risk Manager with internal and external audit action remediation on technology risk management topics.

Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required:

  • Must have a working understanding of diverse information technology types and terminology
  • Must have excellent numeric and logical analysis skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills – ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Very good English proficiency
  • Ability to build effective relationships across the organisation in multiple locations
  • Enthusiastic about continuous learning and developing new skills
  • Attention to detail in a high paced environment
  • Proactive attitude and ability to meet deadlines under pressure

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience of working within an Information Security team is beneficial
  • Knowledge about different Risk Management frameworks, processes and terminology
  • Technical or scientific university degree or equivalent professional certification is desirable
