About Flutter Functions:
The Flutter Functions division is a key component of Flutter Entertainment, responsible for providing essential support and services across the organization. The division encompasses various corporate functions, including finance, legal, human resources, technology, and more, ensuring seamless operations and strategic alignment throughout the company
Role Overview:
As a Cyber Transformation & Strategy Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Flutter's strategic initiatives by embedding cyber security expertise across a broad range of engagement types.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Cyber, Workplace Technology, Legal, Compliance, and wider business units to ensure all strategic initiatives are delivered securely and in alignment with Flutter's enterprise cybersecurity standards.
The role requires an analytical mindset, strong technical understanding, and the ability to operate under pressure in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment, with future opportunity to grow into leading engagements.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Support cybersecurity risk analysis and diligence of target companies, identifying security posture, gaps, liabilities, and integration requirements
- Support the assessment of target current-state capabilities to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities, contributing to target-state operating models and uplift projection
- Assist in the development of investment planning, synergy/dyssynergy identification, budgets, and quantification of cost, effort, and risk exposure to ensure alignment to risk and value targets
- Support the definition of security requirements and assist in the development and execution of cyber transformation plans, tracking milestones and remediating identified risks, and supporting delivery to address gaps, align controls, and reduce risk
- Support the definition of governance and accountability frameworks, aligning strategy, sponsorship, risk appetite, and cross-entity risk management
- Support regulatory compliance requirement analysis across geographies, balancing alignment of privacy laws and local security mandates.
- Own the documentation of engagement activities, risks, and controls across all engagement types, actively driving the development and maintenance of processes, templates, and frameworks to enhance the team’s capabilities
- Assist in the preparation of reports, dashboards, and materials to communicate status and risk posture to leadership and key stakeholders
- Track risks, actions, and integration milestones, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required:
- Strong knowledge of cyber security principles, frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), and risk management (experience working within NIST desirable)
- Ability to assess technical environments including network architecture, endpoint protection, identity, and cloud security
- Adept at translating complex cyber security concepts into business-relevant language to support informed decision-making by non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable engaging with both technical cyber security teams and business owners, tailoring communication style, and depth accordingly
- Skilled in communicating risk and impact in a clear, concise, and actionable manner
- Analytical and investigative mindset with a data-driven approach to problem-solving
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and concurrent engagements across different initiative types
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate in a multi-cultural, distributed team
- A bachelor's degree in cyber security, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–4 years of experience in a cyber security or business transformation role
- Comfortable discussing multiple cyber domains, with good foundational knowledge
- Familiarity with enterprise security tools and related capability (such as EDR, SIEM, IAM, VM platforms, cloud platforms etc) with understanding of their function and ability to meet control requirements
- Experience delivering assessments using cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong ability in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
