About Flutter Functions
The Flutter Functions division is a key component of Flutter Entertainment, responsible for providing essential support and services across the organization. The division encompasses various corporate functions, including finance, legal, human resources, technology, and more, ensuring seamless operations and strategic alignment throughout the company.
Role Overview:
Flutter Technology is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure and distributed systems on AWS. This senior role requires hands-on expertise in cloud architecture, networking, and DevOps practices, along with the ability to drive technical decisions that shape our cloud strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with various technical teams to design and implement scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in cloud architecture within large enterprise environments, with particular emphasis on AWS services, Cloud-native technologies (CNCF), networking, and distributed systems. Strong expertise in DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and modern CI/CD pipelines is essential. We are looking for a seasoned professional with a proven track record of developing and implementing standardized cloud patterns that enable organizations to achieve operational excellence and technical agility.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust, scalable cloud architectures on AWS, with particular focus on networking, security, and high availability
- Lead the development and implementation of cloud-native solutions, including microservices architectures and containerized applications
- Design and optimize network architectures including VPCs, Transit Gateways, Direct Connect, and hybrid cloud connectivity solutions
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
- Establish and enforce cloud governance frameworks, including cost optimization, security controls, and operational excellence
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices across the organization
- Provide technical leadership in cloud migration strategies and application modernization initiatives
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and implement cost management strategies
- Collaborate with security teams to implement cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
- Mentor and guide development teams in cloud-native development practices and AWS services

Experience Required
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture and services
- Deep expertise in cloud networking, including VPC design, hybrid connectivity, and network security
- Extensive experience with distributed systems and microservices architectures
- Strong background in DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Configuration Management)
- Proven experience with container orchestration platforms (EKS, ECS) and serverless architectures
- Strong understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability solutions in cloud environments
- Practical experience with automation and infrastructure scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Strong background in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline)
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK)
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
- Experience working in agile environments and with distributed teams
- Strong understanding of cost optimization and cloud economics
- Bonus points for:
- Relevant AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, Advanced Networking)
- Experience with multiple cloud providers
- Background in software development
- Experience with data analytics and big data architectures
- Knowledge of FinTech or gaming industry requirements
