About Flutter Functions:
The Flutter Functions division is a key component of Flutter Entertainment, responsible for providing essential support and services across the organization. The division encompasses various corporate functions, including finance, legal, human resources, technology, and more, ensuring seamless operations and strategic alignment throughout the company.
Role Overview:
Global Risk and Compliance is leading the development of Flutter’s global framework and standards. The role is a strategically driven, but hands-on, environment role, to help identify risk and compliance initiatives specific to the business and implement innovative solutions that will remove roadblocks and allow teams to seamlessly execute. These projects should help to drive our carbon reduction and improve the sustainability of our facilities’ footprint.
As an advocate of risk and compliance for Flutter, you will have the opportunity to develop and manage exciting regional and global projects that help enable statutory and industry compliance. Working with teams across the region and globe, you'll need excellent stakeholder management, organisational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to clearly communicate and present information to seek buy-in.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the implementation of ISO 50001 across an initial six Flutter locations; further embed all energy processes across suitable office locations.
- Work with senior stakeholders to influence change, develop energy targets and implement strategic initiatives for our buildings, helping to reduce, monitor and ‘green’ our energy consumption
- Lead the deployment of projects against plans and objectives to ensure commitments are met, delivering against our energy targets
- Develop relationships with functional leaders and key stakeholders across all corporate workspaces
- Lead the HSE team in Cluj, providing line management support to three team members and providing advice and guidance where required
- Own the relationship with the Sustainability team, working to deliver Net Zero across Flutter by 2035
- Work with the broader ESG strategy team to ensure Flutter’s data is accurate and that improvements to our environmental impact are recorded
- Assist in preparing written analysis of findings and recommendations for various energy and carbon related solutions
- Support the Risk and Compliance team in the strategic design, development and implementation of Global environmental policies and procedures
- Develop and execute efficient program tracking and reporting processes for regional and global initiatives
- Build relationships with external suppliers and partners and with internal stakeholders
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of 5 years of industry or consulting experience in risk and compliance project, programme or operational management, or related fields
- Previous experience within environmental management a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills,
- Self-motivation with a strong affinity for vision setting, strategic problem solving and driving action
- Ability to tell clear, compelling stories out of complex issues and analysis
- Influential with great presentation skills
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholders
- Strong IT skills – must be proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
- Ability to design processes in a face paced environment without a prescribed template
- Passion for Health, Safety, Environmental and Wellness improvement
- The ability to travel globally when needs arise.
- Proven ability to set ambitious goals and continuously strive for improvement/Demonstrates a strong focus on achieving high-quality outcomes, consistently pushing for greater efficiency and performance
