We’re expanding the Data team and looking for people passionate about Data, paying attention to accuracy and latency, and interested in Machine Learning, Predictive Analyses, and stream consumptions based on Kafka, and Cloud architecture.

The Role

We are looking for a dedicated, self-motivated Associate QA Data Engineer to join our great team of engineers in building high-end, high-quality applications.

You will have the opportunity to work in an agile environment, teaming up with colleagues who have experience in Data Warehouses, Machine Learning, and more.

The successful candidate should have technical and problem-solving skills, a positive and results-driven attitude, and a good communicator who can interact with both technical and non-technical people.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

· Functional Testing of Data Integration & Reporting solutions

· E2E testing - From source data stores through to reports, including test data setup

· Interact with the Product Owner to ensure a suitable understanding of requirements

· Own defect management lifecycle

· Follow Test Driven Development practices

· Follow Environmental best practices

Experience & Qualifications:

Essential:

· Background in functional testing with the ability to plan, design, and execute test cases

· Proven diagnostic and debugging skills

· Understands Data, Data Integration, Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence

· Knowledge of database technologies like Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL, Redshift, or other

· Knowledge in writing SQL

· Problem-solving skills

Desirable:

· Exposure to Test Automation

· Experience with data processing (ETL/ELT)

· Experience of Agile software development practices

· Experience of hands-on testing in the data space is a plus

· Good analytical skills.

· Enthusiasm for the software development process.

· Proactive work ethic with the ability to deliver results and meet challenging deadlines
