Role overview

We are looking for an Identity and Access Engineering Manager to take on maintaining and improving the Identity & Access Security Governance tooling for Flutter UKI region.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for running and, maintaining Flutter UKI’s IGA(s). You will continuously seek ways to improve our approach to automating access governance for our stakeholders, ensuring compliance with the Identity & Access policies, internal standards and SOX.
  • Key contributor to the IAM strategy and roadmap, in line with Flutter UK&I's objectives and goals.
  • Lead a team of IAM engineers who are helping with automating access governance activities including application integrations, regular access recertification, user lifecycle management and policy violations.
  • Provide support and guidance to the business in regard to the application onboarding into IGA tools.
  • Own the technical aspects (HOW) for onboarding applications into IGA tools.
  • Ensure support for any internal and external audits asks is delivered by the team; input into the creation and delivery of actions in order to reduce risk
  • Build and maintain strong and positive relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation
  • Ability to share information and work collaboratively across the organisation
  • Set team goals, define project priorities, and ensure the accurate completion of tasks.
  • Establish a collaborative and inclusive work culture, where employees are encouraged to share insights and work together.
  • Collaborate with partners and team members to understand business requirements and translate them into effective IAM solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IAM trends, technologies and regulations to improve the team's capabilities.
  • Define and track metrics that monitor the success and impact of the services provided.

Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required:

  • An experienced information technology professional with a strong engineering background.
  • Good understanding of system integrations, software engineering, systems engineering, or relevant technical fields.
  • Good understanding of OOP with previous experience in one programming language (Java, C++, C#..)
  • Good understanding of Process and Service design, automation, and operationalization.
  • Familiarity with modern development frameworks, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices.
  • Ability to align engineering goals with the overall business strategy.
  • A strong communicator with a flexible attitude and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Results-oriented with the ability to influence outcomes with a hands-on attitude. A Delivery driven individual with a sensible attitude to risk
  • Ability to take complex and technical concepts and successfully communicating these to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience of leading culturally and globally diverse teams to successfully deliver against team objectives.
  • Able to adapt communication style and to appreciate business perspectives and requirements across different brands.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams across various departments, fostering an environment of open communication and shared goals to achieve collective success
  • Proven ability to set ambitious goals and continuously strive for improvement/Demonstrates a strong focus on achieving high-quality outcomes, consistently pushing for greater efficiency and performance.
  • Committed to being a reliable and supportive team member, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Ability to make informed and confident decisions while bringing your own perspectives to the table.

Nice to have:

  • SailPoint or any other identity and access management tool hands on experience is a big plus.
  • Previous development experience with Java backend
  • Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
  • Knowledge and ease of working with security policies and standards
  • Passionate about technology and display energy and enthusiasm for the Data & Access discipline
  • General understanding of information security best practices
