An Associate Finance Partner is essential in driving financial performance and strategic planning within an organization. By providing data-driven insights, this role supports management in making sound financial decisions, managing costs, and optimizing resource allocation.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and brilliant Associate Finance Partner to join our team!
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist the Senior Finance Partner in partnering an 800+ heads division.
- Liaise with all the relevant stakeholders and ensure adequate stakeholder management.
- Working with individual departments to prepare budgets and consolidate them into the UK&I divisional budget and one overall Cluj budget.
- Inform department managers & directors of due dates for the submission of budget information.
- Act as an advisor to budget owners in formulating their budget submissions.
- Review proposed budget submissions for accuracy and completeness.
- Upload cost centre budgets into budgeting tool.
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports, comparing actuals against budgets and forecasts, performing variance analysis to explain differences in performance and make improvements going forward (controlling). Monitor organizational spending to ensure that it is within budget.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, department heads, and external financial partners.
- Advise budget owners on available funds and suggest cost saving opportunities.
- Challenge budget owners on the use of available funds and suggest correction actions, where needed.
- Contribute to the preparation of presentations for the local and group Senior Management Team.
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications.
- Work closely with other team members to achieve department and company goals.
- Assist the Finance team in any other accounting/finance activities.
- Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis and continuous budget tracking across the year.
- Formal approver in Workday.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in Financial Planning and Analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently based on learnt precedents and practice and deliver excellent results.
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
- Ability to think creatively, highly driven, and self-motivated.
