The Position
FanDuel is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our Technology organisation. You will own the delivery of Casino specific technical programmes that improve our product, our stack, our delivery model and the lives of our engineers. We are not simply facilitators. We bring our technical depth to bear, helping to define complex solutions across multiple verticals, leading the technical trade-off discussions, owning the timeline, dependencies milestones, and risks, and being the single accountable owner for its successful delivery.
Your focus will be working with the assistance of senior TPMs and Engineering Managers to assist successfully delivering improvements to an existing technology platform or working to achieve a defined program’s goals. This could mean working across multiple teams within an Engineering vertical. To be successful, you’ll need to understand not only the consequences of technology decisions, but the larger business context, and have a hunger to learn and develop quickly. You will grow into a subject matter expert for programs, partnering with product, commercial, and engineering to ensure we balance customer experience (quality, depth of features, etc.) with speed of delivery. You’ll work diligently to meet timelines, mitigate risks, and use data to drive your decisions. You’ll make sure you get the right input from Engineers to make the right decisions.

- Collaborate with TPMS, senior TPMs and engineering leads to identify and address risks and issues within your programmes

- Support resource allocation and priorities discussions under the guidance of senior TPMs.
- Assist in influencing teams and stakeholders to align with program goals.
- Escalate issues when necessary, under the guidance of senior TPMs.
- Contribute to trade-off decisions, especially as they pertain to immediate program needs.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience in a technical program management role, or equivalent experience working closely with engineering teams.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and support program delivery.
- Basic understanding of engineering and technical program management concepts.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the willingness to learn and improve.
- Familiarity with engineering processes and the ability to engage in discussions with engineers.
