What you are going to do:

  • Contribute to the overall testing effort on projects;
  • Review, Analyze & Document bugs/issues accurately and clearly;
  • Troubleshooting and triaging issues with multiple teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution;
  • Documenting, tracking and escalating issues;
  • Estimating the Level of Effort needed to test and complete a task;
  • Can work with an automation test-suite built around the following tech stack:
  • Java, Maven, Selenium, TestNG, Spring
  • Assume ownership of project automation requirements and deliverables;
  • Ensure integrity, validity, testability of all product specifications;
  • Analyze software product and development process and provides input for decisions regarding the actions to be taken to ensure and enforce product quality;
  • Continuously strive to improve the efficiency and coverage of the QA processes.
  • Understands what mocked tests are and how they apply in a web project
  • Knowledge of web APIs and associated testing tools

Key Skills:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience;
  • Experience using automated tools and frameworks for web automated tests;
  • Experience of Agile software development practices;
  • Able to conduct QA design and architectural reviews from the project and their impacts on components;
  • Good commercial experience working on successful automated testing projects;
  • Background in functional testing with the ability to plan, design and execute test cases;
  • Proven diagnostic and debugging skills;
  • Knowledge of basic OO programming;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proactive work ethic with the ability to deliver results and meet challenging deadlines.
