Payments Analyst (1 year) - Flutter Group

Role purpose:
Reporting to the Group Accounts Payable Manager - the role will be responsible for the daily payment operations of the Flutter Group. This role is suited to individuals with strong technical ability, knowledge of corporate payments & AP, and have demonstrable interpersonal, communication, and networking skills. Extensive experience of payments in a large multinational corporate or bank is essential.


  • Collaborate with the Treasury Risk Management team to ensure that funding is in the right place and the right currency to fund the group’s payment outflows across the whole organisation.
  • Responsibility for the management and coordination of all manual payments, payment run files and funding across the group
  • Ensure all payments managed by the treasury team are recorded in both the TMS and ERP systems
  • Act as the first point of contact for banking / payment / payment processor issues and reach timely resolution
  • Compile statistics for payment KPI's
  • Continuously review processes and procedures considering changes in systems and in requirements of the team, implementing efficiencies and demonstrably reducing manual work
  • Work collaboratively with all related finance teams and other parts of the Group and our Banking partners

Key Requirements/Experience:

  • At least 1 year of relevant Banking and payments experience.
  • Ability to build strong networks and relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Flexible, enjoying a frequently changing environment with a positive attitude and desire to constantly improve.
  • Proactivity and innovation – highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Strong time management, organisational and multi-tasking skills.
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Exposure to the gaming industry, directly or via a bank, extremely advantageous
  • ERP and TMS experience, with Oracle ERP and FIS Integrity a distinct advantage
