As part of Flutter's International division, you will contribute to the success of Flutter, by working on critical and strategic projects at the heart of the world's largest public online gaming business, with funding and opportunities to match our huge ambition.

We are on an exciting journey; as part of the Flutter group, we form a key piece of the world's largest Betting and Gaming company. We are expanding our team to support our ambitious cloud adoption roadmap.

TECHNOLOGY STACK

  • Backend: C++, Java, Spring Framework

Responsibilities

  • Participation in the maintenance and development of our backend system with a high amount of transactions per second, very short response times and third party integrations

  • Participate in the software development process from design to release including design, document and develop solutions as well as server code review and peer design activities

  • Provide support including participating in investigations and trouble-shootings issues found in testing and production environments

  • Designing efficient algorithms and implementing those in code for supporting the entire SDLC, including source control management and delivery pipelines

  • Review and investigate production issues

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in development of mission-critical backend systems in large scale product-based companies

  • Great C++ experience with through understanding of building distributed and scalable systems.

  • Working knowledge of Java and Spring Boot framework

  • Exposure to full lifecycle on a production stage enterprise application delivery

  • Knowledge of SQL scripting language is a plus

  • Understanding of the modern web architectural patterns, knowledge of such technologies like HTTP(S), Kafka, REST and WebSocket

  • Experience with CI&CD systems (Jenkins or similar)

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to details

  • Experience with using 3rd party integration tools and SDKs

  • Experience with AWS

  • Comfortable with Git, Jira, and Confluence

  • Knowledgeable with test driven development

  • Good English
