We are looking for a Test Automation Specialist (RPA) to be an instrumental part of delivering a transformational automation program across the FanDuel Group. You will work alongside teams throughout the business to implement automation solutions to our most time-consuming and sticky problems. This role will play a significant part in our transformational Intelligent Automation portfolio of work within FanDuel Group. You will be entrusted with the responsibility for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining the test automation strategy and frameworks. Your role will entail the creation and maintenance of functional automation tests, spanning both the API and user-interface tiers.


Everyone on our team has a part to play:

  • Prepare Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases for module, integration, system, regression, and performance testing of the bots
  • Prepare Test Data for the test cases, analyzing the Test Cases prepared by other team members
  • Execute the Test Cases following testing lifecycle processes
  • Track defects and provide feedback to developers to fix them
  • Prepare summary reports and documentation to improve the quality of the automations
  • Classify, store, and handle data in accordance with FanDuel policies; track security risks and mitigate and/or escalate them in a timely manner
  • Build relationships and work closely with stakeholders across the business to be well positioned to identify future opportunities for process improvement and automation solutions
  • Work closely with the relevant technology and product teams on program strategy and setup
  • Collaborate closely with global automation team at Flutter on emerging technologies and innovative solutions
  • Play a key role in business process improvement reviews to identify opportunities where automation can drive benefits and efficiencies for the business


What we're looking for in our next teammate:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in an analytical and detail-oriented technology role preferred
  • Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with UiPath products or other Robotic Process Automation (RPA) vendors preferred
  • Experience leveraging open-source test automation tech stack (e.g., Selenium, robot framework, Java, Python, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of UiPath RPA Development and APIs
  • Demonstrated ability in working with tools like Jira, Confluence, and GitHub
  • Extensive understanding of architectural concepts in UiPath Automation or Power Automate
  • Experience in using GitHub automation for CI/CD pipeline
  • Experience with database queries
  • Knowledge of UiPath Test Suite and UiPath Test Manager
  • Attention to detail and an analytical mind
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a lot of ambiguity
  • Adaptability to new systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • High-level personal initiative and motivation
  • Understanding of business processes and passion for creative solutions to complex problems
  • Excellent collaboration skills is a team player, works well with others across the organization to get things done
