The Promotions and Content team are responsible for keeping Paddy Power and Betfair customers safe and engaged.
Sitting in the wider Digital Marketing function, this team create promotional mechanics, landing pages and onsite content across our sports and gaming sites. Crucially, the team must ensure there is a 100% quality of execution through quality control processes across a number of tools and regularly review in order to adapt to the evolving marketplace.
The team will measure success through opt-in rates, click to bet rate and overall conversion of our customers.
The Promotions Exec is there to create, optimise, manage and report on the promotional activity of UKIE Division. Delivering promotions that support all marketing channels, you will ensure that the new and existing customer experience is the best it can be. Communicating with the wider business is a key part of the role, so the ability to work across multiple departments, organize effectively & build strong relationships is vital.
You will be responsible for managing operational tasks and processes that will facilitate the business in delivering the best customer experience and product offering. Our teams deal with promoting events via promotional banners, quick links, promotions, live video ensuring content on site is up to date and relevant for our customers. Creation and settlement of promotions for both Online and Retail products
Working with the Promotions Manager and other relevant departments to plan the new and existing customer promotional calendar, to deliver against strategic business goals
Responsible for the operational creation of acquisition, retention and product offers/landing pages across all brand and regions and subsequent QA/communication
Promotion manual crediting of customers that take part in different offers
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation (process flows, timelines etc) in a centrally stored area for audit and internal review
Monitoring of designated communication channels and offering support in case there are issues
Run SQL querries to find different sets of data that will be used to credit or block customer activity on promotions
Working with different teams to ensure we have all the information and support needed in order to execute promotions
Conduct regular checks of payments and data results on all our promotions to make sure they are all working as expected
Monitor customer support tool and help solve promo related queries
Meet team’s KPIs with minimum errors
Work with the Promotions manager to pull together month end and quarter reports – highlighting insight on promotions with recommendations on testing going forward
Work with Audit and Legal teams to ensure promotional assets are compliant with all regulatory bodies
Hands-on attitude regarding ad-hoc requests from different teams or outages where we are point of contact for issue resolution
Take part in daily/ad-hoc meetings and calls when required
Seek to improve, optimise and evolve current working practices to drive efficiency and quality

Sports and betting knowledge
Microsoft Excel and SQL knowledge are an advantage

Attention to Detail: This is a customer facing role, so all marketing communications need to be on brand, factually correct, legally compliant and will ultimately deliver a first rate customer experience
