You'll join a Build team that is responsible for building our back end modules and client applications.

The responsibilities of the role
- Help automate and streamline our Continues Integration processes
- Maintain tools for deployment, health monitoring and logging
- Participate in new environment planning
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in all environments related to automation processes
- Mentor other members of the team how to use automation tools
- Work collaboratively across the team and collaborate closely with other IT, QA, DBA, Dev and business partners
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Demonstrated experience in DevOps or Configuration Management roles
- Scripting (mostly Perl, Python and Bash) as well as experience with monitoring tools
- Familiar with one or more configuration management and deployment tools like Salt, Chef, Ansible
- Strong experience using Jenkins and Groovy
- Technical expertise Windows and Linux
- Deep understanding of SDLC with experience planning deployments and improvements to CI/CD pipelines
- Quick learner who can adopt and devour a lot of information about our in-house framework and systems fast
AS AN IDEAL CANDIDATE YOU WILL HAVE:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Full proficiency with Linux command line environment including shell scripting and remote server administration via SSH
- Experience with Atlassian products like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket
- Competent in Version Control (Git/Bitbucket)
- Experience with Consul, Vault, Terraform is a big plus
- Containerisation experience (Kubernetes and Docker)
- Post secondary education in Computer Science or similar
