Role overview:

Flutter is currently undergoing an exciting HR transformation, establishing a cross-divisional Global HR Operations function underpinned by Workday as the global people technology platform. This People Centre of Excellence will deliver agile, scalable HR services and a high quality experience to Flutter's brands and divisions.

The HR Operations Project Manager will be a critical hire into our new People Centre of Excellence as  we have a number of projects to deliver as part of our transformation. The first of these is to manage the delivery of our new Global virtual HUB solution serving around 12,000 people and covering over 25 countries, with queries and transactions throughout the employment lifecycle. This
role will lead two direct reports each of these accountable for managing a team of circa 10 HR operations partners delivering support to the Flutter divisions. This is a project assigned for 12 months to get the new HUB and the team to a level of performance where it will be moved into business as usual.

Following the successful completion of this project this role will be required to support in the wider People Services function including the Specialist Services area which covers three key areas: Compliance, Audit and Policy, Reward Support and Talent Support - also new teams within the new global HR Operations function. These roles will not always involve direct management of teams but will require virtual team management and cross function collaboration. The opportunities for involvement in and gaining experience of a number of key areas across HR Operations are significant and will appeal to someone looking to expand their skills and experience across a range of HR disciplines as both a manager of people and an individual contributor.

Areas of focus for the HUB project:

• Oversee the day-to-day delivery of the Global HR service responsible for managing customer queries end-to-end, processing Workday transactions, and managing mass data uploads.
• Play a key role in the development of the HR Service Management framework, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Service Level agreements (SLAs), and operating processes for the HR Global team.
• Overall responsibility to ensure the support teams are adequately resourced and set-up to monitor Workday Help queues, ensuring a consistent customer experience is provided to employee populations across UK&I, International and Group.
• Ensure any significant issues or risks to the HR service delivery are identified and promptly resolved.
• Leverage day-to-day oversight to help support the development, implementation, and review of HR procedures, structures, solutions and processes that deliver continuous improvement to the Global HR service solution.
• Drive the standardisation and adoption of HR operational processes to achieve operational excellence across the HR function.
• Monitor the escalation of queries from specific markets and identify opportunities to reduce escalations and improve the broader customer experience service.
• Accountable for the achievement of agreed KPIs and metrics across both teams to ensure business requirements are met.
• Review the Global HR performance across both HR teams on a regular basis, using real time data to identify key issues and predict future challenges and trends.
• Leverage knowledge of brand, market and location specific processes/practices/compliance requirements, to adjust and improve delivery of services as required; ensuring processes remain compliant with specific regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate:
• A pro-active self starter able to quickly grasp the objectives of the projects and deal with complexity in a fast moving environment.
• Demonstrated experience delivering services to a global organisation both as a manager of teams and in a standalone role.
• Experience successfully developing, implementing, and embedding HR processes across the entire HR lifecycle.
• Previous management of HR case management tools establishing key KPIs and SLAs in alignment with business requirements.
• Exposure to a range of HR cloud technologies and the associated employee lifecycle processes (Workday preferred).
• Evidence of identifying areas for continuously improved operational excellence and completely focused on delivering excellent employee experience.
• Versatile and collaborative with the ability to manage both direct and virtual teams across the HR function and beyond to deliver projects on a range of HR topics.
