We are seeking a highly skilled Data Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both development and operations, with a passion for automation and infrastructure as code.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure and deployment processes

Automate build, deployment, and scaling of applications using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins
-
Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences
-
Work with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker
-
Continuously improve and optimize infrastructure and processes
-
Participate in Operational and an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 availability of systems (if requested)

Resource estimations for projects and software releases

Attention to detail and proactive “can-do” approach to all aspects of systems administration

Keen interest in working with new technologies

Qualifications:
-
Experience in a DevOps, Automation or equivalent role
-
Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
-
Strong experience with Linux/Unix systems
-
Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
-
Strong experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform
-
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker
-
Experience of supporting JBoss/Tomcat/Cougar
-
Ability to use scripting technologies (Shell, Bash, Perl, Batch, python, ruby) to create/modify scripts
-
Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols
-
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
